TRAFFIC

  • Responsible for shipping and border crossing equipment and materials
  • Transportation specialists develop a detailed traffic plan at the early stages of the project highlighting special lifting or handling requirements of the project, ie heavy or oversized loads, special handling for skid units and DCS
  • Site survey to check access up to plant site and inside plant interference
  • Furnish all vendors with shipping instructions
  • Should alternate storage be required beyond jobsite facilities specialist will coordinate arrangements

INSPECTION

  • Verification of qualified welders and welding procedures
  • Interpretation of non-destructive test samples
  • Check heat treatment facilities and procedures
  • Witness testing
  • Assure code inspection
  • Coordinate vendor questions and engineering responses
  • Confirm vendor has manufactured to specifications
